The HMH Into brand system was created to bring greater cohesion across the curriculum portfolio.
I developed the original identity for Into Math California and art directed its extension into Into Reading and Into Literature, collaborating across marketing, sales, product, and leadership to build alignment and organizational buy-in. The resulting system balanced stakeholder needs and market research insights with a playful, educator-focused aesthetic, creating a flexible foundation that extends across products, channels, and initatives.

I developed the initial Into Math branding and created guidelines for a scalable multi-product system. Once the system was established, I art directed the design for Into Literature and Into Reading and oversaw Into Math’s extension for Texas adoptions.
Previous iterations of these products had distinctive identities that did not align with HMH’s core brand, creating an opportunity for a more unified and flexible visual system.
Subject-appropriate symbols were chosen to add a touch of whimsy while also visually signifying grade ranges.
Marketing collateral included brochures, flyers, presentations, promotional postcards, and more. Field Sales teams were equipped with templates to allow for responsive, quick-turnaround solutions in-market.
